Pandolfo Alluminio’s
manufacturing facilities include two large scale, modern factories,
both located in the northern Italian province of Belluno, and both
dedicated to specific stages of the manufacturing process.

The extrusion plant is located at Belluno (Italy). This factory occupies 40,000 m² of covered floor space and is a state-of-the-art installation with four presses, capable of turning out up to 32,000 tons of aluminium profiles in a year.

Extrusion dies
are stored and retrieved using an advanced, large capacity, automatic
warehouse system with 15,000 locations.
The plant also includes 4 automatic ovens for heat-treating extruded profiles.
Extrusions is handled and stored in a fully automated system
controlled by dedicated software, installed by the German company
Hermann&Hieber, market leader in this particular sector.
The excellent technical and engineering standards achieved at the
Lentiai facility are the result of a wide-ranging five-year renovation
plan that involved industrial investments amounting to over 15 million
Euros.
The site also has a large area dedicated to packaging and shipment
operations, with 8 loading bays.

Post-extrusion
operations are carried out in Pandolfo Alluminio’s second
facility at Feltre
(Italy). This factory occupies 22,000 m² of
covered floor space and is where aluminium profiles are anodised,
powder-coated and machined to requirements.
Anodizing is
carried out using the very latest generation of equipment, with an
output capacity of 2
million m²/year.
All stages of the process are controlled by dedicated software,
guaranteeing the quality and repeatability of the process, which is
Qualanod-certified.
Complementing the anodizing
service, the Feltre plant is also equipped with a vertical powder coating
system with a production capacity of 2.7 million
m²/year.
The process is Qualicoat-certified.
Also at Feltre is an entire department dedicated to aluminium machining,
with some 60 machines including CNC machining
centres and traditional
machine tools.

The Feltre site also handles the many complementary operations that customers frequently request, such as component assembly and packaging, and the preparation of all necessary documentation.
